ACTIVIDAD
IFEMA se ha consolidado como uno de los emblemas del Madrid de los negocios y exponente de la vitalidad de la economía española y de la Región. Su trayectoria ascendente, que ha llevado a duplicar su actividad en los últimos años, confirma el liderazgo nacional de esta institución y su posición entre las primeras de Europa.
La Institución Ferial de Madrid comenzó a operar en 1980 y sigue regida por sus cuatro entes fundacionales: la Comunidad de Madrid, el Ayuntamiento de Madrid, la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Madrid y Caja Madrid, cuyos máximos responsables conforman sus órganos de gobierno.
Feria de Madrid es una referencia en el ámbito internacional. El recinto cuenta con 200.000 metros cuadrados cubiertos de exposición, distribuidos en doce pabellones, así como con todos los espacios y equipamientos necesarios para el óptimo desarrollo de esta actividad: un singular edificio de oficinas que integra una completa área de reuniones y un auditorio para 600 asistentes; 14.000 plazas de aparcamiento; el Business Center; guardería, una moderna Sala de Prensa, una diversa y numerosa oferta de restauración; amplios accesos y viales interiores y exteriores; instalaciones logísticas y técnicas; entidades financieras y de servicios... además de un espectacular Centro de Convenciones de más de 13.000 metros cuadrados.
La dimensión de la Feria de Madrid, y los numerosos y permanentes proyectos de mejora que lleva a cabo, permiten a la Institución asegurar su línea de crecimiento desde criterios de calidad, y afrontar su desarrollo fundamentalmente en el ámbito exterior. En este sentido, es importante señalar que la internacionalización de la actividad ferial de IFEMA sigue siendo una de las principales prioridades de la Institución. Los esfuerzos en este
sentido quedan reflejados en la creciente participación de expositores y visitantes extranjeros.
El entorno descrito ha hecho posible que la actividad que se desarrolla en la Feria de Madrid acoja la celebración de más de 80 ferias, que suman anualmente 1,3 millones de metros cuadrados netos de exposición, con la participación de más de 42.000 empresas y 4,5 millones de visitantes, de los cuales 1,5 millones son profesionales. Unas cifras que han elevado los ingresos de la Institución a más de 170 millones de euros.

IFEMA has consolidated its position as one of the emblems of business Madrid and as an exponent of the vitality of the Spanish economy and the region. Its upward-trending track record, which has enabled it to double its activity in recent years, ratifies the national leadership of this institution and its position among the leaders in Europe.
The Fair Institution of Madrid began operating in 1980 and continues to be governed by its four founding entities: the Autonomous Region of Madrid, the City Council of Madrid, the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Madrid and Caja Madrid, whose senior managers make up its governing bodies.
Feria de Madrid is a benchmark in the international arena. The show ground boasts 200,000 square metres of covered exhibition area, distributed into twelve halls, coupled with all the spaces and equipment needed for the optimum undertaking of this activity: a unique office building comprising a comprehensive meeting area and an auditorium for 600 participants; 14,000 parking spaces; the Business Centre; a nursery, a modern Press Room, a diverse, extensive catering offer; broad accesses and internal and external roads; logistical and technical installations; financial and service entities... in addition to a spectacular Convention Centre measuring over 13,000 square metres.
Feria de Madrid hosts the staging of more than 80 fairs which, every year, total 1.3 million net square metres of exhibition area, with the participation of over 42,000 companies and 4.5 million visitors, of which 1.5 million are trade professionals. These figures have increased the Institution's income to over 170 million euros.

IFEMA si è affermata quale uno dei simboli della Madrid degli affari nonché fiore all'occhiello del dinamismo economico dell'omonima regione nonché della Spagna nel suo complesso. La sua evoluzione constante, che ne ha raddoppiato l'attività negli ultimi anni, viene a confermare la leadership nazionale di tale ente nonché la sua posizione ai primi posti del ranking europeo.
L'Ente fieristico di Madrid, operante dal 1980, fa capo ai suoi quattro cardini costitutivi: la Regione Madrid, il Comune di Madrid, la Camera di Commercio e dell'Industria di Madrid e Caja Madrid (Cassa di Risparmio di Madrid), i cui vertici fungono da organi di governo.
L'Ente fieristico di Madrid è assurto a referente su scala internazionale. Il quartiere vanta uno spazio espositivo di 200.000 mq coperti, articolati in dodici padiglioni, nonché tutti gli spazi e le attrezzature necessarie all'espletamento ottimale della sua attività: un singolare palazzo di uffici comprendente un'area riunioni attrezzata di tutto punto e un auditorio con una capienza per 600 persone; 14.000 posti macchina; il Business Center; un asilo, una sala stampa moderna, un'offerta di ristoro nutrita e alquanto varia; accessi agevoli e viali interni ed esterni; impianti logistici e tecnici; istituti finanziari e di servizio oltre a uno splendido Centro Congressi di oltre 13.000 mq.
L'Ente fieristico di Madrid ospita oltre 80 manifestazioni per un'area espositiva netta annua ammontante a complessivi 1.300.000 mq, cui aderiscono oltre 42.000 aziende e 4.500.000 visitatori, di cui 1.500.000 sono addetti ai lavori. Grazie a tali cifre, i proventi di tale ente si sono attestati su oltre 170 milioni di euro.
